Old Rag isn’t exactly what you’d call a hidden gem. In fact, this trail is the most popular in all of Shenandoah National Park. Yet that doesn’t mean that it’s suitable for everyone, especially considering the fact that the trail measures 9 miles in length and gains some serious elevation. Experienced hikers will want to check this trek off their bucket list, and those who aren’t up for an all-day excursion will enjoy the photos of this iconic Virginia attraction.
Have you hiked Old Rag Mountain recently? Be sure to tell us about your experience! For more details about the trail, including a map and directions to the trailhead, you can visit the National Parks Service website here.
