Most Virginians have heard of the famed Natural Bridge, but did you know there was an equally-impressive landmark known as Natural Tunnel? Located in Duffield, Virginia, this attraction is the center feature of Natural Tunnel State Park. The feature cave is so large, in fact, that it doubles as a railway tunnel. Visitors to the park can marvel at this massive rock formation while exploring the surrounding landscape of the Clinch River, naturally-formed amphitheaters, and the Appalachian mountains.
Natural Tunnel State Park is located at 1420 Natural Tunnel Parkway. Duffield, VA 24244-9361. Have you visited this remarkable attraction before? If so, we’d love to hear about your experience!
