Virginia has no shortage of unique general stores, many of which act as a passage to the days of yore. One primary example is the Middlebrook Mercantile, housed in a building that dates back to 1901. Despite being closed for a brief period, the store has re-opened under the new name of Middlebrook Mercantile (formerly the Middlebrook General Store). Step inside and you’ll find yourself immersed in a local and historic treasure. Whether you’re shopping for a one-of-a-kind handmade product or have never frequented a general store before, you’ll find this experience to be enriching.
Have you had the chance to stop by the Middlebrook Mercantile recently? If so, we’d love to hear all about your visit! For more information, you can follow along on Facebook.
