If you thought authentic maple syrup was something you could only experience in Vermont or New England, then you might be missing out on one of Virginia’s most iconic festivals. The Highland County Maple Festival will celebrate its 61st annual event for two weekends in March: March 9th – 10th and March 16th – 17th. Highland County, Virginia is the southernmost maple syrup producing region in the nation, and in our humble opinion, the sweetest. Prepare to taste delicious maple products and learn a little bit more about the process.
Have you attended the Highland County Maple Festival before? We’d love to hear all about your experiences! For more information, you can visit the official website here.
