That’s the inspiration behind today’s road trip, which is one that will take you down I-81 with lots of fun-filled stops along the way. Last but certainly not least, Natural Bridge State Park concludes our 1-81 road trip through Virginia. This breathtaking natural attraction is one of the most famous in the state, and it's no mystery why. The geological formation towers 215 feet high and measures 90 feet across. the surrounding gorge has been carved away by Cedar Creek, a tributary of the James River. While you're there, be sure to explore the trail system and stop by the Monacan Indian Living History Exhibit.
