Daydreaming about the beach isn’t so rare these days, with freezing temperature and bouts of snow. Fortunately, there are plenty of coastal areas we can look forward to exploring as soon as the weather warms up again. One prime example is a little-known park in Norfolk, Virginia that happens to be right on the beach. Sarah Constant Beach Park may be modest in size but will provide you with a full dose of sand and salty air.
Sarah Constant Beach Park is a hidden gem of a park located along the coast of Virginia. It's named for the Flagship Sarah Constant, which along with the Godspeed and the Discovery, landed at this point in 1607.
Although the park is conveniently located near Norfolk, you'll feel thousands of miles away from it all as soon as you spot the gorgeous shoreline and expanse of the Chesapeake Bay.
So whether you're in need of some serious salt and sand therapy, or simply curious to discover a new area of Virginia's enchanting coast, your trip to Sarah Constant Beach Park will not disappoint.
Sarah Constant Beach Park is located at 300 W Ocean View Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510. Have you visited this hidden gem of a park before? We’d love to hear all about it! For related content, be sure to check out This Amazing Hike To A Secluded Beach In Virginia.
