History is all around us here in Virginia. In fact, it’s even possible to set foot inside a store that’s been in business for over 100 years. The Floyd Country Store opened its doors in 1910 and has since become a staple of the southwest Virginia community. In addition to serving as a general store filled with supplies and pantry staples, this spot is also a lively hub of dancing and live music.
Have you ever visited the Floyd Country Store? What did you think? We’d love to hear all your stories and experiences in the comments below — be sure to share them with us! For more information, you can follow the Floyd Country Store on Facebook or check out the official website for a calendar of events.
