Welcome to the Storybook Trail! This delightful 0.7-mile trail is perfect for kiddos or those looking for a short-and-sweet accessible trail in the mountains.
The entirety of the route is either paved or boardwalk, with little to no elevation gain. You'll want to enjoy every turn of this beautiful path, as it showcases Virginia scenery at its finest.
What makes this trail truly magical, though, is the overlook at the end. While most scenic mountain views in Virginia require quite a hike, this gentle trail offers some of the best views in the region.
