The Virginia woods are brimming with beautiful waterfalls, and many of them are popular hiking destinations. Today’s feature attraction is a bit different in that it’s one very few people know about. Hone Quarry Waterfall is a hidden waterfall in Virginia that requires a bit of a hike but, by all accounts, it’s an adventure worth taking. Tucked away in Rockingham County is a beautiful, little-known hiking destination known as the Hone Quarry Waterfall. To get there, you'll need to lace up your hiking boots.
On a warm summer day, there are few sights as welcoming as a rushing waterfall. If you're hiking with a dog, they'll probably enjoy splashing around for a bit!
One thing to note is that many hikers have reported a loss of cell service towards the second half of the hike. Just be sure to keep this in mind and always tell someone of your whereabouts if you're planning to hike alone.
