Today, we’ve pinpointed an entire park dedicated to all things fun, and it’s appropriately named Explore Park. With a zip line park, miles of hiking trail, and even pod cabins where you can stay the night, this destination near Roanoke is great for the whole family.
Pristine forests, rolling hills, and endless acres of wilderness await at Explore Park in Roanoke County. Whatever you enjoy doing most in the great outdoors -- be it hiking, camping, or simply appreciating nature -- you'll find plenty of ways to enjoy this special park.
Explore Park is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 115. After a scenic drive with lots of fascinating stops along the way, you'll find even more to uncover.
Whether you prefer gentle strolls in nature or something a bit more challenging, the miles of hiking trails offer some of the best scenery in the state.
TreeTop Quest invites visitors ages four and up to soar through the trees and test their skills on the aerial obstacle course. In fact, you can even go zip-lining at dusk!
