Virginia’s state motto could easily be changed to “Virginia is for wine lovers.” For proof of this, look no further than the upcoming wine festival — the Clarksville Wine Festival. Scheduled for Saturday, April 9th, 2023, this annual event promises to be better than ever this year. The festival is a celebration of local wine (beer, too), great food, and live music. Whether you enjoy a quality glass of wine or simply love an excuse to travel to a different part of the state, you’ll be so glad you marked your calendar for the upcoming wine festival in Virginia.
Save the date! The Clarksville Wine Festival in Virginia is scheduled for April 9th, 2023 between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
As such, Clarksville is no stranger to seasonal festivals. From Halloween parades to air balloon celebrations, there's simply no shortage of ways to have fun here.
But, if you're a wine enthusiast, you might agree that the springtime wine festival is the best event of all. After a delightful morning of perusing the shops and cafes downtown, head to 617 Virginia Avenue, which is on the grounds of the Delicate Flower B&B.

And while the festival is primarily a celebration of wine, there will be plenty of other drink options too, such as local beer from Buggs Island Brewery.
Visitors should note that the festival is for ages 21 and up. Tickets are $30 at the gate or $25 in advance, and include unlimited tastings and a souvenir glass. Non-tasting tickets are $15 at the gate or $12 in advance.
And don't forget to spend some time on the water! The lake boasts 900 miles of shoreline and endless opportunities for recreation and adventure.
