Virginia is filled with impressive architecture. Centuries-old buildings that date back to the Colonial era and modern buildings alike have a way of inspiring awe and wonder. One area where incredible architecture is truly on display is on university campuses. Head to Virginia Tech, for example, and you’ll notice a collection of stately and strong stone buildings. These limestone blocks created a neo-Gothic-style campus reminiscent of Oxford, Cambridge, and perhaps even the fictional Hogwarts. Here’s more on the beautiful Virginia Tech campus, and its striking similarity to the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
When was the last time that you visited the Virginia Tech campus? Did any part of the school remind you of Hogwarts? Be sure to share your thoughts with us in the comments – we’d love to hear from you! And while you’re there, be sure to check out this grove of ancient trees growing in Virginia.
