Did you realize it’s possible to escape to Europe without ever having to leave good ol’ Virginia? Well, not technically, of course, but as soon as you arrive to Bistro L’Hermitage, you might feel like you’ve traveled across the Atlantic. This beloved restaurant in Woodbridge offers rustic French dining in a beautiful Virginia setting. Yet everything about the exterior of the building as well as the decor inside will make you feel like you’ve been transported to France.
Tucked away in Woodbridge, Virginia awaits a totally unique dining experience that's bound to impress just about anyone. Bistro L'Hermitage can only be described as a little slice of French paradise, and will delight you as soon as you arrive.
The interior of the restaurant is charming, cozy, and totally European inspired. Details like the paintings on the wall and the buzz of the kitchen will make you feel like you're truly in France.
Yet the menu is very Virginian, especially considering that much of the produce and ingredients are sourced locally. It's truly the best of both worlds!
You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but if it's your first time visiting, you might want to opt for one of the fan favorites, such as escargot, fried oysters, French onion soup, or hanger steak.
