You’ve probably heard of the Appalachian Trail. It’s a 2,000-mile thru-trek that winds up and down the Appalachian Mountain range connecting Springer Mountain in Georgia to Maine’s Mount Katahdin. Virginia holds the most miles of the entire trail — approximately 500 of them. And while the Appalachian Trail is famous for its striking beauty, ancient forested surroundings, and friendly communities it passes, it’s also holding another secret: it’s an allegedly haunted trail in Virginia.
