The town of West Haven in Vermont has always been a small one by anyone’s standards. Today the population is only 264, and while roads have come a long way over the years, it’s still off the beaten path. So you can imagine how separate this area must have been over 200 years ago if someone in this little town which is almost completely surrounded by Lake Champlain needed help. Well, something happened that many years ago and there is a street named after the ghostly appearance that happened here.
