There are so many quaint and adorable towns to visit in Vermont that it’s often easy to forget which ones to visit. This beautiful little town in Chittenden County sits right along Lake Champlain and you’ll want to make the trip there to see what it’s all about.
The town of Shelburne sits right along shores of the majestic Lake Champlain.
The town population is just over 7,000, but that doesn't include all of the visitors who make the trek to spend a weekend here.
For starters, pick up some fresh apples at Shelburne Orchards.
During the fall season, go apple picking. Or, head into their bakery for a fresh baked apple pie and some delicious hot cider.

The founder started this company simply by selling stuffed teddy bears out of a cart along the streets of Burlington in the 1980s. But it has grown into one of the largest teddy bear companies in the state.
