Visit Al's French Frys, The Small Town Burger Joint In Vermont That’s Been Around Since The 1940's
Before there was social media, there were the drive-ins. A place to socialize with people from town and visitors passing by. Al’s French Frys has been that spot for decades for many Vermont locals. Located in South Burlington, Al’s French Frys has been serving up burgers and fries for years and years.

They first got famous for their amazing french fries, but quickly after, their hamburgers also became a fan favorite. Back then, people had to eat outside or in theirs cars as there was no area inside to dine in.

The restaurant was purchased by Bill and Lee Bissonette in 1983. Back then, burgers were as cheap as 85 cents!
