It’s that time of the year again! Just when we thought the snow would never leave, the flowers are starting to bloom and the sun is warming our faces. While it’s perfectly acceptable to enjoy a cool sweet treat any time of the year, now is the perfect time to welcome the warmer weather with a ice cold milkshake. Buddy's Famous may be the New Kid on the Block, but this is one place worth noticing. The food is wonderful and the milkshake flavors include Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Oreo, Reese’s, Vermont Maple, Nutella, Coffee, Peanut Butter, Fruity Pebble and Creamsicle. Wait... Fruity Pebble?!?! Incredible!!!!

2. The Rochester Cafe & Country Store - 55 N Main Street, Rochester
A milkshake with breakfast? Why not! These are two of the many things that the Rochester Cafe has perfected. In fact, a milkshake will go perfectly with anything on the menu here. This cafe tucked away in a country store also has one of Vermont's last remaining old-fashioned soda fountains!
3. Green Mountain Sugar House - 820 Route 100 N, Ludlow
There's plenty of things to choose from on the menu that will be perfectly paired with a milkshake at Honeypie! They're taking a break at the moment to recharge for a terrific Summer, so check their Facebook page and catch them when they're back. It's worth the wait!

This hip and chic joint is popular for the coffee, but their milkshakes are not to be missed. They're made with chocolate gelato and espresso so this refreshing pick-me-up is a must when you're in the Burlington area.
7. Burger Barn - Route 15 and 108 (Right at the Mobil Station), Jeffersonville
With specials like the Yankee Doodle (a burger with grilled slice of Mac and cheese, bacon, cheddar and American cheeses with a sweet chili aioli), it's no wonder why people come to the Burger Barn from all over. But their milkshakes are definitely out of this world.

Everything - and we mean everything - that comes out of this grocery store is incredible. From the milkshakes to everyday essentials, a stop at the Shopping Bag will never disappoint.
