Spend The Day At This Hot Air Balloon Festival In Vermont For A Uniquely Colorful Experience

Nothing breaks up the lazy days of summer quite like a festival. One that you won’t want to miss in Vermont is the Stowe Hot Air Balloon Festival during the second weekend of July. Great music, delicious food, games, and of course, big beautiful hot air balloons await.
The Stowe Hot Air Balloon Fesitval will take place July 6-8, 2018. Enjoy watching the colorful balloons rise and partake in a number of fun activities at this summer celebration.
The gates open at 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. There is a $10 admission charge and kids under 12 are free.
Children will enjoy the kids corner where they'll find plenty of activities to keep them occupied.
Listen to live music both nights as a number of talented artists perform.
There will be plenty of vendors selling wonderful items and food, but of course the main attraction is the balloons.
The evening launches will take place at 7 p.m. and you won't want to miss their vivid ascension into the sky.
Interested in taking a hot air balloon ride yourself? Tethered rides are available for just $10 per person.
If you really want to cut loose and soar high in the sky, hot air balloon rides are priced at $275 per person and advanced reservations are recommended.
Early morning launches will take place at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. This is a quieter time to enjoy the balloons as there are no vendors or other activities taking place.
Wake up with the sun and hit the field to get a chance to talk to the pilots and take great photos. There is no admission fee for the quiet morning launches.
