This enchanting, labyrinth-like drive through the notch of Mt. Mansfield is nothing short of spectacular. Vermont Route 108 is 45 miles in length, stretching from Jeffersonville to Stowe, and winds through the impressive Mount Mansfield State Forest.

Not the whole route is full of tree tunnels and impossibly sharp switchbacks. On other parts you'll find open vistas and mountain views.

The drive takes about an hour to an hour and a half without stops. But we recommend stoping and exploring hiking trails, visitors centers, and other pull-offs.
