Some of us like to snuggle up under a quilt on cold winter nights, while others like to stitch them next to a crackling fire during the snowy season. But both snugglers and stitchers will enjoy attending the Vermont Quilt Festival. For all of the fabric lovers out there, you’ll want to mark your calendars now for New England’s oldest and largest quilt festival. Whether you are a seasoned quilter or a newcomer, this incredible event celebrates an old-fashioned craft that has stood the test of time.
The 43rd annual Vermont Quilt Festival will take place Wednesday, June 26 to Saturday, June 29, 2019. Join in the fun of this massive exhibition at the Champlain Valley Exposition (CVE) in Essex Junction.
Enjoy the checking out the quilt entries from all over the United States, Canada, and abroad. You'll be amazed at all of the different colors and patterns showcased.
This isn't just an event for adults, kids can get involved too! This year's theme is "Color My World" and both adults and children can enter the contest.
The festival will take place Wednesday, June 26 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., and Thursday, June 27 - Saturday, June 29 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tickets for the Vermont Quilt Festival are $12 for one day, $22 for a two day pass, and $32 to attend all three days.
