Do you smell that? You’re not imagining it – the smell of pumpkin spice is growing stronger by the minute. And what better way to ring in the fall season than by hanging out at an awesome pumpkin festival in Vermont? Keep reading to learn more.
The annual Cedar Circle Pumpkin Festival is one of the best ways to welcome autumn in Vermont. It’s packed full of activities and fun for the whole family, and then some!
Hosted at the lovely Cedar Circle farm in East Thetford, this festival combines live music, games, crafts, and yummy food with plenty of pumpkin picking and zaniness. Adults and kids alike will have a blast exploring the farm and reveling in the fall season.
Pick out your prize pumpkin in the farm’s stunning pumpkin patch and then head to the main stage for live music and entertainment. The kids will also love activities like face painting, cider pressing, and arts and crafts.
Between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., musician and storyteller Stephen Coronella will be around spinning yarns and playing songs. Be sure to work up an appetite in those fields, as there will also be plenty of grub from spots like NOFA-VT Pizza Oven, Griddle and Groovy, and Cedar Circle Farm Kitchen.
The farmstead will be open during the festival, which means you can shop for fall essentials like decor, gourds, and bulbs to plant before the ground freezes. Don’t forget to grab a jug of fresh cider!
