Ye Olde Tavern has been known by many names in the past, but the incredible hospitality has always been the same.
Built in 1790 as the Stagecoach Inn, it was later Lockwood's Hotel, the Thayer Hotel and in 1976 - just in time for the U.S. Bicentennial - it was renamed to Ye Olde Tavern.
Some of the characteristics that set the building apart are the spring floor in the 3rd floor ballroom and the high square columns on the porch.
