October Country Inn is located in the sleepy town of Bridgewater Corners, Vermont.
It's close enough to the highway to make it an easy trip, but the house is tucked away enough to make it truly feel like a peaceful getaway.
The Inn first opened its doors to guests in 1975.
The first owners of the inn were Ruth and Pete Hall who purchased the land in 1972. At the time, it was just a farmhouse, barn, and shed without any electricity or power. With a few years of hard work, the pair were able to turn this rustic farmhouse into a comfortable and beautiful bed and breakfast. Today, it is owned by Chuck and Edie Janisse.
They have rooms of all sizes available for guests.
Shown above is their largest bedroom and has one queen, one double, and two single beds. You can also opt for a smaller bedroom with a queen or full.
And what's a bed and breakfast without breakfast?
Each morning, guests can head down to the dining area to enjoy a homemade breakfast. Their Sour Cream Pancakes and Cinnamon French Toast are absolutely scrumptious!
If you're a fan of craft beer, head to Long Trail Brewery.
Long Trail Brewery brews an amazing selection of craft beer and is located just a short walk from October Country Inn.
After a day of activities, cozy up by the fire.
Chat up with other guests or settle in with a good book.
In the summer, they have an awesome pool for guests to enjoy.
And it's not uncommon to see deer come visit their garden.
October County Inn sits on 4 acres of beautiful land. Their garden feels like a magical fairyland in the spring and summer.
For an out-of-town countryside getaway, head to October Country Inn.
Though it has the convenience of being close to the highway, store, and brewery, it still feels like you're a world's away in this serene and scenic farmhouse bed and breakfast.
