Now in its ninth year, A River Of Light In Waterbury is expected to be bigger and brighter than years past. Join this special event for one night as hundreds of lanterns are paraded through town.
The glowing spectacular involves local students, artists, and community members. What started out in 2010 as a lantern parade with 150 willow and paper creations has grown in size considerably over the years. Admire lanterns of all shapes and sizes as they become glowing pieces of art.
Lantern making workshops are held in the local schools and community throughout the fall. Register online to get help with making your own creation for the festival.
