If you embrace everything about Halloween and love to be frightened then this haunted Halloween trail is the perfect fall activity for you. Not only is this terrifying path full of thrills and chills, but this spooky attraction also helps provide food to those in need in a local Vermont community.
The Emmons Island Haunted Trail in Grand Isle might just be the most terrifying spot in Vermont. With 17 years of experience providing Halloween frights, this trail is not for the faint of heart.
The trail is open for one night only on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Experience the horror between 6:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. The trail is not recommended for young children.
Little ones are welcome earlier in the day between 4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. to walk a spooked-down version of the trail. This tamer version will let kids enjoy the walk without the frights.
Purchase a ticket to walk the trail for $10 or donate at least seven non-perishable food items to help the local community. Tickets are on sale the night of the event.
Last year the haunted trail brought in nearly 2,000 lbs. of food for local families. In the past seven years that the trail has been running, it has collected 10,446 lbs. of food.
Visit the trail at 1 Island Meadows Ln., Grand Isle VT 05458. Learn more by visiting their website or Facebook page.
