The Legend Of This Town Center In Vermont May Send Chills Down Your Spine
Woodstock, Vermont is known as one of the most charming and scenic towns in the Green Mountain State. However, there’s an eerie tale about this quintessential New England town that might spook and surprise you.
According to the legend, a local family named the Corwins had a son who died from an unexplained and bizarre illness. After this tragedy, their second son became sick with the same symptoms too. Locals then encouraged the Corwins to protect their family by warding off vampires. Therefore, they dug up the body of the son who passed and burned the corpse.
While this all supposedly happened in 1834, the legend still lives on. And what makes it even more chilling is there’s no record of the Corwin family in the town registry.
