Learn How To Make Homemade Bread At King Arthur's Baking Class In Vermont
Do you always accept the free bread at restaurants? Do you add a bread roll to your dish every year at Thanksgiving? If so, a bread making class might be for you! It’s one thing to enjoy the taste of different kinds of bread, but to be able to make your own bread, well that’s even cooler. Luckily, the bread-baking experts at King Arthur’s Flour in Norwich, Vermont are here to help you learn how.

There are only two of these campuses in the country, and Norwich, Vermont is considered the flagship location.

Up until 1999, the company had a couple different names. First, it was named Henry Wood & Co., after the founder who first brought flour into Boston from Europe in 1790. Soon after, others joined, and it was renamed Sands, Taylor & Wood. In 1896, they named their flagship flour product King Arthur and then, in 1999, the company was renamed that, too.

When baking bread, sourdough is usually the first type of bread that comes to mind. And while that's one of the breads that King Arthur instructors may teach you how to make, you can also learn how to make pita, baguettes, pies, and so much more.
