Did you know that Springfield, Vermont is one of the most magical places in the world for stargazing? Established in 1920, the Stellafone Observatory has been the place for astronomy lovers from near and far to go and view the planets, constellations, stars, and more.

Since 1926, the Stellafone Convention has been held annually here. Stellafane means "shrine to the stars" in Latin. To reach this landmark in Vermont, take VT-103 South if you're coming from Rutland.

Since its inception, the Stellafane Observatory has become a place for astronomy fans to gather and appreciate views from Breezy Hill in Springfield, Vermont.

This solar observatory was constructed in 2017 and is one of the more recent additions to Stellafane.
