With the holidays just around the corner, you might have already started to see the Christmas movies on TV. Each movie has its own interpretation of what the North Pole looks likes, but what they all share in common are the toys. Vermont has its own toy-making factory in Shelburne, and this one is dedicated just for the bears.
Vermont Teddy Bear Company has been making beautiful bears for over 30 years.
Vermont Teddy Bear Company first opened in 1981. It started with the founder selling teddy bears from a cart on Church Street in Burlington. It's since become the largest teddy bear factory in all of Vermont. All of their bears are handcrafted at their factory in Shelburne.
The Teddy Bear Vermont factory is open 7 days a week from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Tour times are at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. For more information, visit their website by clicking here.
