Did you know that lavender farms have popped up all over the country? It’s true! Some are U-pick places where you can harvest a bit of lavender for your own home – others are commercial enterprises.
In Utah, the Young Living Lavender Farm is part of Young Living’s Essential Oils business. If you’re into essential oils and feel that they offer benefits for relaxation, you’ll be interested in this farm. But…even if you’re not into the whole multi-level marketing or essential oil stuff, this lavender farm is worth a visit. Here’s why:
The Young Living Lavender Farm is located at 3700 North Highway 91 in Mona. For driving directions, click here.
For just a few dollars, you can pick your own lavender to take home. Spend the afternoon wandering among the lavender plants, basking in their wonderful scent.
The Visitor Center has information about the lavender and other herbs, along with a small store where you can buy products like bath salts, soaps and oils.
Make sure to watch for the annual Lavender Day Festival in June. The festival includes tours, games, lavender ice cream and slushies and plenty of family fun.
