This incredible state park is home to three campgrounds that are filled with amenities, offer gorgeous desert landscapes, and are near many hiking trails and other features. Kodachrome Basin State Park is located in southern Utah near the small town of Cannonville. This state park is home to unique red rock formations, excellent hiking trails, arches, and more.
This state park is also home to three separate campgrounds. Each campground is unique and beautiful, and no matter which campsite you stay in, you won’t be disappointed.
No matter the time of year, you can stay at the Arch Campground. This year-round campground at Kodachrome Basin State Park in Utah is less than 0.5 miles from the state park’s visitor center. This campground is ideal for small RVs and trailers.
You will find 13 campsites at Arch Campground and six of these sites offer water and power. There are fire rings and tables at this campground as well.
Basin Campground is the largest campground at Kodachrome Basin State Park in Utah. However, this is a seasonal campground and is closed From December 1 to March 1.
This campground not only provides some of the most beautiful views, but you are also surrounded by trees, white hills, and more. At several campsites, it is easy to feel like you are tucked away from the rest of the world.
Basin Campground has more than 35 campsites with a mixture of tent sites, campsites with full hookups, a double site, and an ADA site. There are flush toilets and showers found at this campground and many hiking trails are within walking distance.
