Summer is coming, and we’re looking forward to the farmers markets all over the Beehive State. But who says you have to wait for summer to buy fresh, local produce? The Winter Market at Rio Grande in downtown Salt Lake City is open now.
During the winter and spring months when it's too cold for the Downtown Farmers Market to set up shop at Pioneer Park, you can head to the Winter Market at the Rio Grande Depot. It's located at 300 S. Rio Grande Street in Salt Lake City.
You'll find plenty of unique local products here, too. For instance, Bitters Lab is a Salt Lake City company that creates small-batch, premium cocktail bitters in unique flavors. You'll love exploring all the creative offerings from local small businesses.
Winter Market runs through April 21st, so there are just a few weekends left before it's gone. The Saturday Farmers Market in Pioneer Park starts up in June.
What’s your favorite thing to buy at the Winter Market?
