Utah is a hiker’s paradise, and we have trails for outdoor lovers of every skill level. Whether you’re looking for a short, easy hike, or ready to tackle one of Utah’s more extreme trails, you’ll certainly find no shortage of great options. Hiking is already a great way to spend the day…but what could make it better? Llamas, of course!
One of the best ways to explore the area around Capitol Reef National Park is by hiking. Even outside the park, there are plenty of rock formations and gorgeous vistas that will have you pulling out your phone to capture all your memories. The next time you're up for a hiking adventure, do it Inca-style with llamas!
These furry friends are strong and sure-footed. Ancient people like the Incas used them as pack animals because of their agility, strength, and temperament. After a day of exploring, you'll agree that these beautiful creatures make great hiking buddies.
Wilderness Ridge offers several guided hikes. Whether you're looking for a quick day trip or a longer excursion, they'll help you choose the perfect adventure for your trip.
For a quick day trip, book the two-hour-long Traveler hike, or the four-hour Explorer hike. Both are suitable for most hikers, and are available from March 23rd through October 7th.
Spend an entire day with llamas on the full day hikes. The Sightseer hike is an eight-hour-long adventure that takes you along the edge of the Water Pocket Fold. You'll see some beautiful vistas and incredible rock formations. Book this day trip from March 15th through October 31st.
The Vacationer is a one-of-a-kind adventure that takes through an alpine forest to a beautiful lake. It lasts eight hours, and is in a fairly remote place, so you won't likely see other hikers at all. This trip is available from June 25th through October 31st.
If spending one day with llamas isn't enough, book an overnight adventure! Trips range from two to six days, and you can choose from several different spots. You can also work with the guides to create your own, custom adventure.
