Google Earth has a cool new feature that allows you to take virtual hikes at Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, and Zion National Parks.

Arches National Park is located in Moab, which is overflowing with visitors every year. Around 1.5 million people come to see Delicate Arch and the other arches in the park every year.

Zion National Park is Utah's most-visited park, and is also one of the most popular parks in the country. In 2018, Zion was the fourth-most visited national park in the U.S., with 4,320,033 visitors.

You'll find six different spots to explore virtually in Zion, including The Temple of Sinawava, The Narrows, Court of the Patriarchs, the Zion Canyon Visitor Center, and the Zion Human History Museum. Kanarraville Falls is also featured, though it's not inside the park.

Best state parks in Utah

Utah is well known for its national parks with some of the most famous parks in the country. Referred to as the Mighty Five, Zion, Canyonlands, Arches, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef National Parks are world-famous. However, their fame has led to some incredible state parks in Utah being overlooked and we wanted to highlight some of them as well.

Antelope Island State Park

Antelope Island State Park is a unique park less than an hour away from Salt Lake City, Utah, and true to its name, is actually a huge 42 square mile island on the Great Salt Lake. Antelope Island State Park offers some incredible sunrises and sunsets over the Great Salt Lake, has plenty of hiking trails, and is famous for its wildlife. While there are plenty of antelope on the island, there are actually over 550 wild bison that can be found on the island as well, making this park a unique and wonderful place to explore.

Goblin Valley State Park

Goblin Valley State Park is a park that is filled with thousands of hoodoos, which are called “goblins.” Hoodoos are tall and thin rock formations that seemingly sprout up from the desert floor, and this is one of the best places to see them in the world!

Dead Horse Point State Park

Dead Horse Point State Park is close to Canyonlands but looks more like the Grand Canyon! From the lookout at Dead Horse, you can look out over the Colorado River from 2,000 feet above, standing on the cliffs towering above it.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is true to its name. These dunes found outside Kanab, Utah, are perfect for motorcycle and ATV riding, and you will just love exploring this mars-like landscape.
