Sunny Southern Utah is chock-full of fabulous attractions. From national parks to locally-owned businesses, you’ll find plenty of recreation down here.
If you’re looking for a place to cool off, head to the little town of Veyo to visit Veyo Pool. It’s a great spot for swimming and splashing, catching crawdads, camping, and rock climbing.
You'll find Veyo Pools just 20 miles north of St. George. This place has been around for decades, but it recently underwent some major renovations. If you haven't visited for a few years, you're in for a pleasant surprise!
The pool has been completely renovated, and it's just as much fun as ever. Splash and play to your heart's content - this is the perfect spot when you want to cool off on a hot day.
Crawdad Canyon has a privately-owned rock-climbing park! The basalt walls of the canyon feature 234 bolted climbing routes. Bring your own rock climbing equipment along, sign a waiver, and start exploring.
This place got its name from...you guessed it...crawdads! Also known as crayfish, these wiggly little crustaceans are plentiful here, and you can get a crawdad kit to catch them!
...and make sure to pair your meal with a Veyo Pie shake. Pieces of tasty pie from Veyo Pies are mixed right into the ice cream for a delicious, creamy treat.
Camp overnight at the resort so you can have more fun the next day. Pitch your tent at one of the campsites here - they're located right along the river.
