10 Restaurants In Utah Where Your Meal Is Free If You Can Eat It All
Utahns love a good challenge, and some of our local restaurants are happy to oblige. If you can consume a large amount of food in a short amount of time (without barfing, dying of heart failure or just conceding failure), you could win a free meal, swag, and even cash! Check out these 10 Utah restaurants that offer food challenges.

Take the Ultimate King Omelet Challenge at No Frills Diner. The 12-egg omelet comes with THREE meats (bacon, sausage and ham), onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and jalapenos. If that’s not enough, you’ll also get a pancake, a double order of hashbrowns and a large drink. Finish all of it in 20 minutes or less and it’s free.

The most lucrative of all the food challenges I’ve found in Utah. For this challenge, first you’ll have to eat the Big Ben Burger. This burger is made from 28 oz. of ground chuck and measures a full foot tall. It comes topped with bacon, ham, swiss and cheddar cheeses, onions and Lucky 13 sauce. Once you’re finished with the Big Ben, you’ll eat the Lucky 13 Burger: a 14 ounce patty wedged between two grilled cheese sandwiches and roasted habaneros and jalapenos. You have 56 minutes. If you’re still alive after eating both burgers, they’re free AND Lucky 13 will give you $200 cash! Even better — if you can beat the Lucky 13 record (currently 12 minutes), they’ll give you $1,000!

Take the Monster Pizza Challenge at Firehouse Pizzeria. The Monster is a 36" pizza (the equivalent of FIVE large pizzas). You can add as many toppings as you want, or just order a plain cheese pizza. Two people have two hours to eat as much as they can. If you and your pizza-eating buddy eat half the pizza, the restaurant gives you a 50% discount. If you manage to eat the whole thing, you get a free lunch every week for an entire year!

Finish the Blue Iguana’s Burrito Grande and get a free dessert! The burrito is stuffed with THREE pounds of beef, chicken and chili verde, plus rice and beans, then covered in Spanish sauce.

Eat the Deuce Burger in less than 30 minutes and get a T-shirt proclaiming your success! The 2-pound Deuce burger is topped with four strips of bacon, five slices of cheese and onion rings.

Take the Chubby Challenge to win your choice of a T-shirt or a $10 gift card. You’ll have 15 minutes to eat 1 pound of french fries, plus the Chubby Burger — 3 hamburger patties stacked with alternating grilled cheese sandwiches, lettuce and tomatoes.

Rocky Mountain Wingshak’s 12 Wing Challenge is not for the faint of heart. More than 6,000 people have attempted it, but only about 400 have succeeded. You’ll get 12 boneless wings (2 lbs worth), and 8 ounces of hot sauce. You have 30 minutes to finish all of it, but you have to eat it without any dressings or beverages. If you succeed, you get your photo on the Wingshak Wall of Fame and a $10 gift card.

Become a member of the 24 Inchers Club! Finish a 24-inch sandwich in less than 30 minutes, and they’ll give you a groovy T-shirt. Wear the shirt every time you stop in, and you’ll get a free medium-sized drink. The shirt is so cool, you might just wear it everywhere else, too.

Eat ALL of Angie’s "Kitchen Sink" banana split, and you’ll come away with a bumper sticker that says, "I Cleaned the Sink at Angie’s." Most people order this delicious dessert to share. It includes two whole bananas, tons of vanilla ice cream and three toppings of your choice. The ice cream confection comes in an adorable "sink."

The Landing
If you’re one of the Air Force’s finest, you can easily complete the Barely Buzzed Burger Challenge. The burger has three, ⅓ pound beef patties, Barely Buzzed Beehive cheese, chili con carne, bacon, jalapenos, onion rings and fried egg. If you finish the whole thing (and the fries) in 20 minutes or less, it’s free!
