Utah’s vast public lands are the perfect place to explore year-round, and Capitol Reef National Park is certainly worthy of a visit. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay, look no further than Thousand Lakes RV Park in Torrey. It has campsites for tents or RVs, cozy cabins, and all kinds of amenities that will make it your new favorite destination. And just wait ’til you see the views!
Thousand Lakes RV Park is just six miles from Capitol Reef National Park, and it's the perfect place to stay when you're exploring the park. This place is much more than just an RV park, though. It's a camping village that will make you feel right at home.
The campground is family-owned and operated. The family has lived here in Torrey for two generations now, so they know all about the area, and can give you all kinds of ideas for exploring this beautiful landscape.
This place is like a little village, with all the things a community needs to thrive. The gift shop carries tons of great Southwestern gifts, snacks, firewood and more. The building also houses a hair salon to keep you looking your best, even while camping.
The grassy meadow surrounding the campsites provide plenty of space to kick a ball around, and the kids can burn off some energy on the playground equipment.
Whether you prefer to camp in a tent, an RV, or a cabin, Thousand Lakes has a site for you. Shady tent sites include a picnic table, fire ring, and privacy screen for just $20 per night.
Bring your RV and stay in a site with full hookups. You'll enjoy free Wi-Fi, cable TV, 20/30/50 amp service, and more. Tent and RV campers also have access to clean restrooms with hot showers, and laundry facilities.
Camping cabins are the smallest, at 14 feet x 14 feet. They have two full-sized beds, heating, electricity, a table and chairs, and a ceiling fan. Camping cabins rent for just $39 per night.
Deluxe cabins are 14 feet x 20 feet, and have bathrooms with showers, as well as air conditioning, a television, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Stay in a deluxe cabin for just $79 for the first two guests, $85 for three to five guests.
Super Deluxe cabins have a full kitchen, sleeping loft, and separate bedroom. They rent for $109 for the first two guests, or $115 for up to six guests.
