Utah’s rich pioneer history is preserved all over the state. You can visit this charming little fort, or step back in time to pioneer days at this historic site, or you could enjoy a delicious meal in this adorable pioneer home. Check out The Charleston Draper:
You'll instantly fall in love with this adorable pioneer home. Built in 1878, it was built by Joshua Terry, who arrived in Draper in 1847.
The home has been painstakingly renovated and blends chic, modern design with classic elements to create an ambiance that's perfect for everything from lunch with friends to a romantic dinner with your loved one.
Chef Marco Silva and his team are ready to make your dining experience magical. Chef Silva was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, studied at the Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and has lived in dozens of different countries. His decades of experience in the kitchen have been enhanced by his international influences, and his talent is apparent in every dish he creates.
Everything on the dinner menu is divine, but you'll definitely want to start your meal with Chef Marco Silva's artichoke soufflé. This is no ordinary artichoke dip - it's the chef's personal recipe, and you'll be hooked with the first bite.
Then, sink your teeth into one of the delicious dinner entrees on the menu, like this cognac creamed filet mignon. Seared to perfection and served with a celery root and potato puree, mushrooms, and cognac cream sauce, it's heaven on a plate.
Don't you dare skip dessert! Whether you're a chocolate lover or want something light and fruity, you'll find something that will tempt your tastebuds.
You'll find The Charleston Draper at 1229 E. Pioneer Rd., Draper UT 84020. Visit Monday through Saturday for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and for dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. (open til 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings).
