Recently, The Daily Meal named the best taco places in every state. The winner for Utah? A humble taco cart called Tacos Don Rafa.

Tacos Don Rafa is basically the king of downtown Salt Lake City taco trucks. It claimed its spot way back in 1998, and it's been the go-to taco cart ever since. It's located in front of the building that once housed Sears, at 798 S. State Street.

This humble little taco cart is popular with everyone from construction workers to office workers. Basically, if you love Mexican food and you work or live near downtown Salt Lake City, you're probably already addicted to these tacos.
In fact, at lunchtime on a weekday, there's typically a line.
