That’s why we created this tasty taco trail. This road trip will take you to some of the best taco shops in the Salt Lake Valley. It’s one trip you can take in a single day, or spread it out and add even more stops if you desire. Either way, you are sure to get your taco fix!
This taco trail is only a few miles long but it takes you to six different restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley. You can use this customizable map if you want to add a few stops along your way for this delicious adventure.

The first stop on our Utah taco trail is Tacqueria 27. This is a locally-owned and operated restaurant where you can enjoy the taco of the day, guac of the day, margarita of the day, fish of the day, and even dessert of the day! This restaurant has four locations between Lehi and downtown Salt Lake, but for this particular taco trail, we recommend you visit its downtown location.

This award-winning Mexican restaurant features an extensive menu of Mexican favorites and specialties but the tacos are certainly a favorite here. There are actually two Chunga's locations in the Salt Lake Valley, but for this particular trip, we are going to visit the location on 900 W. This definitely isn’t a large restaurant but the food here leaves a big impression. Pair your tacos with beans and rice and you have one incredible meal.

Street Tacos SLC is one of the newer taco shops in Utah. No matter what type of taco you are craving, you will likely find it on the menu. Taco Taco is a tiny taco restaurant in downtown SLC. This is a small, lively, and fun shop with affordable and delicious tacos. There aren’t as many taco options on the menu as you'll find at similar restaurants on our taco trail, but the tacos here are prepared to perfection.
