The website House Beautiful recently came out with a list of the 60 most charming towns in the country, and Springdale, Utah was ranked as number three. While we think it definitely deserved the top slot on the list, we have to agree that it is absolutely charming. Have you visited lately? Here’s just a sampling of what you’ll find when you arrive:
It's hard to beat the beauty surrounding the pretty little town of Springdale. It's situated right on the edge of Zion National Park. Mount Kinesava towers over the town on its western border, which The Watchman stands guard on the east side of town.
You don't need to be a tourist to enjoy Springdale, but you might want to pop into the Visitor Center when you arrive. At the very least, you can soak in the view from its parking lot - just look at that scenery!
In addition to its stunning beauty, Zion National Park offers tons of recreation opportunities, and you'll want to allow several days to see the entire park.
Lace up your hiking boots and explore the park's many trails. Make sure to visit the Zion National Park website for the latest updates before your trip.
Spend some time checking out Springdale's local businesses, too. The town has several galleries featuring local painters, sculptors, wood carvers, and other talented craftspeople.
After dinner, head over to Springdale Candy Company. You'll feel like a little kid as you peruse the shelves full of classic candy, and you'll definitely want to try some hand-dipped chocolates and homemade English toffee.
