Most Utahns are familiar with the Salt Lake area ski resorts – Brighton, Alta, Solitude and Snowbird – but there’s another resort that’s not nearly as well-known. It’s in the Ogden Valley…and it’s an excellent summer destination. Snowbasin resort is located in Huntsville, on Mount Ogden.
If you're just learning, take the Intro to Mountain Biking Clinic. It's held every Saturday during the summer from 10:30 - 1:30. Cost is $25, and includes a gondola pass.
Visit every Sunday for free concerts. The opening act starts at 12:30 p.m. and the fun continues until 5:30 p.m.. Get some tasty BBQ and a beverage at Earl's Lodge.

The annual Bark At The Basin 5k benefits the Best Friends Animal Society.
Bring your pup to Snowbasin for a hike, starting at 1:00 p.m. For a $25 donation, you'll get a t-shirt and water bowl. Afterwards, enjoy a free concert and BBQ. This year's event is July 31st. For more information, visit the website.
