As you drive to Bryce Canyon National Park, you have likely driven through the small town of Panguitch. This community may be tiny but it has lots to offer. Here, you’ll find friendly faces, incredible history, and a restaurant that you’ll be anxious to visit again and again. The Desert Grill, located on Main Street in Panguitch, is a bucket-list-worthy restaurant that will certainly excite your taste buds. Here you’ll find your favorite dishes and a few gems — you’ll be glad you visited.
The Desert Grill is a family-owned restaurant that opened its doors in 2015. You will find it at 614 North Main Street in Panguitch.
This is an unassuming restaurant and you may even pass it by as you drive through town. But it’s not the restaurant's exterior or the friendly vibe that will capture your attention. It’s the food.
This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and there is truly no bad time to visit. If you stop in for breakfast, you’ll find all types of favorites ranging from pancakes to French Toast to biscuits and gravy.
If you stop in for lunch or dinner, start with an appetizer like onion rings or zucchini strips. And while you can't go wrong with any choice, many people come for the French fries.
The fries are prepared to perfection and if you choose the Hog Wild Fries, you’ll enjoy a plate of delicious fries topped with pepper jack cheese, smoked pulled pork, BBQ sauces, chipotle aioli sauce, and jalapenos.
The menu features a variety of sandwiches and burgers. No matter which entree you choose, you better come hungry because you won’t want to leave a single crumb on your plate.
I also recommend you try a slice of homemade pie to end your meal. If you aren’t in the mood for pie, there are several other tasty desserts just ready to be devoured.
When you dine at the Desert Grill in southern Utah, you’ll love every bite. In fact, you may just be willing to drive from any corner of the state for a taste.
