Spring City is a small town located in central Utah near Ephraim. It is a historic town and was founded by pioneers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1852. Today, it is known as one of the best-preserved examples of a pioneer village. However, this small historic town is so much more than historic buildings. It is also home to Das Cafe, a small-town restaurant that serves some of the best German food in Utah.
Das Café is hard to miss. This German restaurant is located right on Main Street in Spring City.
In fact, Das Café in Spring City is home to some of the best German food in Utah and people drive from all over to enjoy its tasty entrees and sit in its inviting atmosphere.
For breakfast, you’ll find many favorites including omelets, Belgian waffles, and more. If you are really hungry, try the German Sausage breakfast, which consists of two sausage links, skillet potatoes, bacon, eggs, and toast.
For lunch, you have a range of options that include a Rueben sandwich, a bratwurst dinner, and a hamburger served with sauerkraut, bacon, and brie cheese.
Although, no matter what you order, make sure you grab a slice of carrot cake. This cake is made fresh each day and is one of the most popular items served at this restaurant.
Das Café is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit the Das Café Facebook page to learn more about this small town restaurant in Utah.
