Classic pinball games are the perfect mixer for craft cocktails at an arcade bar in Salt Lake City. Quarters Arcade Bar is the best of both words: it has all the games you remember playing as a kid and all the beverages you enjoy as an adult.
Feeling game to try this place? Here’s what you need to know about Quarters Arcade Bar.
The bar is located in downtown Salt Lake City at 5 E 400 S. If you're staying in downtown for work, it's the prefect place to unwind. It's also a fun place for a date night or an outing with friends.
The place is simply packed with arcade games - just about every game you can imagine. You'll find classics from the 80's and 90s, including Mortal Combat, Moon Patrol, Dig Dug, Rampage, Super Mario, Donkey Kong and more.
You might consider trying a craft cocktail because this place takes its libations as seriously as its games. The Bolero of Fire is a great example - it's made with ancho Reyes Chile liqueur for spice, along with a house made ginger syrup for an added kick.
Quarters Arcade Bar does not serve food, but it allows customers to bring in food from other establishments. The bar is open daily, from 4 p.m. – 2 a.m. If you’re interested in a private party, the bar has a private room that can be reserved – it comes equipped with a bartender, red velvet booths and a full quiver of classic pinball machines. If you like playing classic games, you also might want to give this fun place a visit.
