Waterfront dining in Utah is hard to come by. There are very few restaurants around the Beehive State that offer river or lake views. However, there is one restaurant that sits along the Colorado River and offers some of the most beautiful river scenery around — The Cowboy Grill. Located in Moab, near both Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, this scenic restaurant is sure to leave you impressed.
You’ll find The Cowboy Grill at the Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab. This lodge is a popular place to spend the night as it offers a variety of hotel rooms and suites and is located in the heart of some of the best outdoor recreational activities in the state.
When you arrive at this restaurant, the first thing you’ll notice is the views. This rustic restaurant is located right on the Colorado River and the water landscapes are sure to leave you speechless. In fact, this is one meal where you’ll want to bring your camera.
And not only will the scenery leave you mesmerized, but so will the food. Throughout the year, The Cowboy Grill in Moab serves breakfast. You can dive into a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with many favorite breakfast foods like bacon, scrambled eggs, croissants, yogurt, fruit, and more.
From mid-March to October, you can enjoy lunch on the covered patio right next to the river. The lunch menu features items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, chips, and more.
You’ll love the dinner menu at The Cowboy Grill. Dinner is served from mid-February to December each year. Reservations are required due to limited seating.
There is plenty to choose from on the dinner menu such as poached shrimp, braised bison short rib, steelhead trout, and so much more.
