A summer evening is the perfect time for a ball game; the weather starts to cool down, and the sky explodes with color as the sun sets. At Smith’s Ballpark, the Salt Lake Bees take on rival teams throughout the spring and summer, and they include plenty of fireworks games to make the evenings even more exciting.
The view from the stadium seats at Smith's Ballpark is incredible in the evenings. The Wasatch mountains light up as the sky turns pink and purple, and the view is stunning.
There's always plenty of excitement during a Bees game. Rookies work on their skills, and some even move up to their major league affiliate, the Los Angeles Angels. It's your chance to see some talented players right before they hit the major leagues.
Make sure to bring your mitt in case a foul ball comes your way. Grab a hot dog and some peanuts to keep you satisfied during the game. Every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday (two tacos for $2), Wednesdays are Cyprus Credit Union $1 hot dog nights, and Coors Light Thirsty Thursdays means that drinks are just $3.
Every show includes music and tons of colorful fireworks bursting overhead. It's like the Fourth of July, all summer long. From June through August, there are seven fireworks nights at the ballpark. Check the dates, and make your plans to attend.
Fireworks nights from June through August, 2019: June 8th, June 22nd, July 4th, July 5th, July 6th, July 23rd, August 17th.
