You don’t have to travel far to enjoy an afternoon full of relaxation, peace, and quiet. The Centered Stone located in American Fork has just what you need. Here, you will find Utah’s first Himalayan Salt Cave. Enjoy emotional, psychological, and physical benefits as you relax and enjoy some time to yourself. This is one Utah destination that you won’t be able to visit just once.
The Centered Stone is a full-service holistic wellness center in American Fork. Here, you can find all types of services to help you look, feel, and become the best version of yourself.
While there are several services available at this wellness center including massages and acupuncture, a visit to the Himalayan Salt Cave is an absolute must.
The Himalayan Salt Cave is designed to help you relax, recharge, and reap numerous benefits. As you walk inside, you’ll notice the cave walls and ceiling are made of salt blocks and crystals. Even the floor is covered with crushed Himalayan salt, creating the perfect setting.
Each salt cave experience is 45 minutes. During this time, you will undergo halotherapy, also known as dry salt therapy. As you sit and relax in the salt cave, micro-particles of salt are emitted through the air. As you breathe in the salt, your body undergoes certain healing processes.
This type of therapy offers numerous benefits including alleviating allergies and respiratory illnesses, improving sleep, and boosting energy levels.
Up to 16 people can be in the salt cave at once but you can also book the entire cave if you wish to have the space all to yourself. Families are also welcome to enjoy the cave, including small children.
Family sessions are 25 minutes and less expensive per person than individual sessions. If bringing children along, you are welcome to bring salt toys for them to play with.
Whether you choose to sit back and read, sleep, or just enjoy the time to yourself, this is one experience that you are certain to enjoy.
