Two of Utah’s favorite things come together every August: sweet, juicy raspberries, and thick ice cream shakes. At the Bear Lake Raspberry Days Festival, you’ll enjoy both, along with entertainment and activities on the shores of the beautiful lake.
Garden City is one of Utah's most beautiful towns. Located on the banks of Bear Lake, it's home to around 500 people, but during the summer, thousands come to visit.
This area is famous for its sweet raspberries, and the berries are ripe for the picking by the the end of July. The town celebrates the harvest every year with a fun festival - Bear Lake Raspberry Days. This year's festival runs August 5th through the 7th.
The main festival and fair opens up on August 5th at 10 a.m. Check out local vendors selling hand-crafted items, as well as plenty of snacks and treats.
At 6 p.m. on opening night, the town gathers for a parade and concert. Meet the Grand Marshalls, Raspberry Days Royalty, and many members of the community.
The festival wraps up with the evening Boat Light Parade with the Bear Lake Yacht Club, followed by fireworks. Check out this video on YouTube posted by Utah Outdoor Activities
